Mindfulness in the Office

Mindfulness meditation is a powerful tool to help reset the brain to allow the "rest and digest" parasympathetic nerves to switch on. Mindfulness classes in the workplace help reduce chronic stress that lead to burnout and a disillusioned staff demographic. This session is a pleasant and important relaxation time for people to breathe and connect with the subconscious, and create a place of peace between "stimulus" and "response" to help make the office positive and productive place to be.

Sitting is one of the most corrosive things we can do to our bodies. It squashes internal organs and makes blood movement sluggish, promotes energy sap, sleeplessness, fatty acid buildup, toxic insulin buildup, decreased hip mobility (causing falls in older flyers), bad mood and foggy cognition and thought processing, squashing and herniating spinal discs, making early mortality 60% more likely and just feeling bad. Not a good way to live your life. Stretch and renew is a mixture of stretch, deep breathing and a short mindfulness meditation at the end to help you feel relaxed with an overall sense of renewal.
